World Wide Flash Mobs are being held simultaneously around the world at 12:00 Noon Central Time on June 9. This is the 15th year for WWFM's. This flash mob will begin by the pump on the south side of the Bushwhacker Jail in Nevada, Missouri. Flash Mobs must last 30 minutes and during that time our group will walk to various historic locations in Nevada related to the Bushwackers for photo ops. When the event ends, participants might then enjoy some of the activities for Bushwhacker Days in Nevada. There will be plenty of food vendors as well as other activities. The historic old Bushwhacker Jail will be open for tours. Also if you go to the museum on the lower floor of the public library a block away, you might even see the host of this event with a table there for the county historical society. Both Bushwhackers and Jayhawkers are welcome but no bushwhacking required!
June 4 update- Nevada geocacher Bush1whack informs me that the historical society will have a 40 x 60' tent over the area to the south of the jail. That includes the pump. We will gather in that area at noon for our flash mob. It might be good for Geocachers to wear geocaching shirts if you have them to make it easier to find each other.
