For fjerde gang arrangeres Vikingeventet, og for første gang har vi gleden av å invitere til dette eventet nord for polarsirkelen. Dette blir verdens nordligste megaevent!
Eventet finner sted på historisk vikinggrunn på Trondenes i Harstad. Her skal vi gå i fotsporene til store vikinger som Tore Hund og Asbjørn Selsbane. Harstad og omegns egen geocacheforening, HåloGeo, er vertskap for eventet.
Eventet varer fra 12:00-19:00.
1200: Åpning ved juliekatrine, Styreleder for HåloGeo
1200: Utstilling og café Trondenes Historiske Senter åpnes (armbånd kreves for utstillingen)
1230: Åpningen av labcacher – avsluttes kl 1900
1300: Foredrag – Hva er geocaching? (Auditorium Folkehøgskolen)
1330: Foredrag – HåloGeoTour (Auditorium Folkehøgskolen)
1400: Smaksverket åpner for salg av grillmat
1400: Sagafortelling Altevågen – Norsk (oppmøte Altevågen)
1500: Foredrag: Cachetur.no (Auditorium Folkehøgskolen)
1615: Guidet tur til Adolfkanonen, begrenset antall plasser, kjøp billetter via https://halogeo.miiduu.com (avsluttes kl 1745)
1700: Sagafortelling Altevågen – Engelsk (oppmøte Altevågen)
1815: Avslutning av event – trekking av premier (Scenen)
1845: Avsløring av neste års Vikingevent (Scenen)

The Vikingevent will be arranged for the 4th time, and this time we have the pleasure to welcome you to this event north of the Arctic Circle. This will be the worlds northern most megaevent!
The event will take place at historical Viking ground at Trondenes, in Harstad. We will here be able to walk in the foot paths of great Vikings such as Tore Hund and Asbjørn Selsbane. The area around Harstads own geocaching society, HåloGeo, is hosting the event.
The event will take place from 12:00-19:00.
1200: Opening by juliekatrine, Chairwoman of HåloGeo (Stage)
1200: Exhibition and café at Trondenes Historical Center is open (wristband necessary to visit the exhibition)
1230: Opening of labcaches – available until 1900
1300: Presentation: What is geocaching? (in Norwegian – located in the Auditorium at Harstad Folkehøgskole)

Mega järjestetään Trondenesissa Harstadissa, historiallisella viikinkialueella. Täällä voimme kulkea kuuluisien viikingien jalanjäljillä, kuten Tore Hund ja Asbjörn Selsbane. Harstadin ja sen ympäristön oma geokätköyhdistys, HåloGeo on megan isäntä.

Annamme tarkempaa tietoa megan ja viikonlopun ohjelmasta myöhemmin. Syksyn kuluessa on mahdollista varata yöpymispaikka ja mihin tapahtumaan haluaa osallistua viikonlopun aikana.
