Geocache Description:

***NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES***

This geoart is part of a nationwide project:
THE USA 50 STATE STAR GEOART celebrating every state in the USA

State Fact: Stephen Douglas is best known for the Lincoln-Douglas debates with Abraham Lincoln in seven Illinois towns. The debate closest to here was in Galesburg. Short, squat, nicknamed the "Little Giant," he was prominent in Springfield and national politics. He briefly courted Mary Todd, Lincoln's future wife. He defeated Lincoln to win election to the US Senate. But when he ran for US president, he lost to Lincoln.

There are 50 caches. All but the final (#50) are bison tubes. See the final for its special instructions based upon the state facts.
