Geocache Description:

This cache is placed on the Northern slopes of Kit Hill Country Park. A park which is part of the Tamar Area of Natural Beauty and for it's mining history a World heritage site. Given to the people of Cornwall by the Duchy of Cornwall in 1985 to celebrate the birth of Prince Andrew. Enjoy this place and it's views as you search for this cache. This cache reflects the Tale of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and the Mossy Tree. Never heard of it. Nor have I but Mrs Tiggy-Winkle has found a mossy tree to hide in. This Northern slope is very different to the other areas of the park. It is quite steep in places and will make you puff. It will become densely overgrown with bracken and brambles during the growing season. The cache is just off a good track that goes across this area. I suggest you find this track but If you decide to do it in a straight line you will find it very hard going. The best parking is probably at the summit or there is North View car park three quarters of the way up the Summit Road. This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Park Manager and complies with both geocaching and park guidelines.
