The road here is flat but respect road safety of course. The ditch could fill with water in some seasons. Since near the road I recommend no night cacheing, and there is never a need to go around the fence! Shoulder may be hard to see in the snow so take extra care. Your GPS will help, the official app in satellite view shows on opposite side, if using phone use trails setting.
