Wells of all shapes and sizes can be found in Cyprus, some believed to be the oldest in the world dating back to the Stone Age.
More modern examples are popular in parks and gardens and this one is the fifth in the series.
The location of this cache is in a small park area adjacent to the main road into Coral Bay.
The area has concrete walkways and quite a number of different trees and bushes planted. At the moment there are no seats etc and it is not being very well maintained, but hopefully when the nearby development of villas awaiting the new marina are complete, that will be rectified.
There is plenty of parking, but not on the busy main road! Just around the corner is the main Coral Bay ‘Strip’ where refreshments etc are available.
The cache contains only a logbook so please bring your own pen....tweezers will also be useful..... it is not located on or in the well itself. Please replace exactly as found.
