This is the next in our 'view' series to celebrate our 1,400th find.
The imposing church of Panagia Chryseleousa at Theletra can be seen for miles around.
The old village was abandoned following an earthquake in the 1980’s and the new village was built on the top of the hill.
This is a very peaceful spot among the trees, with birds singing and beds of wild flowers in season
From here there are impressive views of the valley beneath and across to the Troodos mountains on a clear day. You can also see the Paphos to Polis road winding it’s way below
There is plenty of parking at the church, but be aware that stealth may be needed when the church is in use.
The container houses only the log, so please bring your own pen....and tweezers will be useful.
