Geocache Description:

2018 Wisconsin Geocaching Association Fall Picnic

The cache was placed for the 2018 WGA Fall Picnic.

To download the Cartridge: you need to go to the WhereIgo website and login.

http://www.wherigo.com/cartridge/details.aspx?CGUID=dcdcd2ff-c171-4487-93bc-678f6d03ac4f

Download and place this cartridge into your WhereIgo player like any other Whereigo Cartridge. This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which "sees" the cache and tells you the distance to it, but not the bearing. In addition to the remaining distance, you know that the final cache is within 2 miles of the posted coordinates. I say this on the level , once you are close and do another query, the exact coordinates of the cache will be provided.

The cartridge was created by -Waldmeister- and is available to download from the Wherigo.com website.

Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box for the distance to the final location. You are encouraged to include in your log how many queries it took your team to find the cache (and look me in the eye when you do), but please do not reveal where or how you found it.

All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge are contained within it, and it's also multilingual.

You are looking for a LARGE bison tube at the final location. I have tested this on my Galaxy S8 Phone on 3 different occasions and have had no problems with the cartridge. However, in this area my cell coverage is between a 3G and a 1X so to download this cartridge may take a little time. I would suggest if downloading at the park you move away from the bluffs and more toward the middle for the park closest to the water.

I used the WhereYouGo app for Android and have not tested on any IOS system but assume they all work the same.

To begin, you will have to type this code into your player:

704336
242736
852099

When you pull-up to the final, some stats on your quest will be shown. If you wish, you may enter the details into your log, and also post the number of queries (I refer to # of times) you calculated the distance. Once you find the cache I'm sure you will be singing solos!

At the end of the game you will be given a personal pass-code which can be entered when you select "create" rather than "play". Save this code so if you ever wish to create your own reverse cache, you can do so. -Waldmeister- would like you to inform him of your new edition to his handiwork.

This is a special type of geocache called a Wherigo, a GPS-enabled application that allows you to play interactive games, tours and other experiences in the real world. You need to download the cartridge, and it requires a compatible device (Garmin Oregon/ Colorado or a GPS-enabled: Pocket PC/ Smartphone/ Tablet) to play.

Will it work on my regular GPS? No, sorry. Try to make friends with someone who has a compatible device. Can I use my Smartphone or Tablet? Yes! if it's GPS enabled. Both iOS and Android can play Wherigo cartridges with an appropriate App. The iOS app is called WhereIGo and the Android app is WhereYouGo. Can I use my Wifi-only device? Yes! if it's GPS enabled, pre-loaded, and you avoid using online maps. Wherigo cartridges do not require data usage while playing in the field (except online maps). Sir or madam, you can play a Wherigo with a Wifi-only device if: 1. An appropriate App is previously downloaded 2. The cartridge is previously downloaded 3. Use the App "compass"or "arrow and distance" (or offline map) to navigate. Permission to place this cache was given by the property managers. How do I log this cache? The goal of this Wherigo is the same as any geocache: to sign the logbook in the physical cache. Logging your results on geocaching.com is the same as any other cache. Also, on Wherigo.com you can write a log and review for this cartridge.

REMINDER DOWNLOAD THE CARTRIDGE FROM ABOVE!!!! --- The starting point is random and there is nothing to gather or find there.
