Murrysville Parks and Recreation Commission is celebrating its 50th anniversary!
This cache is part of the 50th Anniversary Geo-Caching Adventure series, which, when completed, can earn you a collectible token! *The difficulty and terrain values were altered in order for all to be able to find the caches without a premium membership all values had to be changed to a 1 due to a recent change to the rules on geocaching.com. This cache has a 1.5 difficulty and 2.5 terrain.* Here's how it works: obtain a 50th Anniversary Geo-Caching Adventure passport, which is available to pick up at the Murrysville Municipal Building or by downloading at www.murrysvilleparecreation.com or by visiting the Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/514984605563475/?active_tab=discussion . After finding one cache from the series at each park, use the paper punch in the cache container to punch the appropriate spot on your passport. When your passport is filled up, contact the Parks & Recreation department at (724) 327-2100 x131 0r x115 or visit the Municipal Building, 4100 Sardis Road, to pickup your tag. Enjoy the hunt!
