Geocache Description:


We are all time travelers. Prove it to for yourself. Look at the time now. Then after you have finished reading these cache notes, look at the time again. You will find that you have traveled into the future at the unremarkable rate of 1 second per second.

At certain locations it is possible to time travel at larger rates. At the cache location you can time travel 30 minutes into the past almost instantly.  At GZ you will find yourself less than 2m from the SA/Vic state border.  Step over the border from South Australia to Victoria and experience time shock. Step back and you can recover.  Visitors from Victoria will experience the reverse effects and travel 30 minutes into the future.  Two people meeting from either side of the border will experience a time paradox.

Note Australian state borders were set using the AUS GEOD '66 datum.
