This cache is placed only a few metres from where our geocaching story began.
Until 2016 people were allowed to walk through the nearby woods and it was a popular place for locals. People walked dogs, youngsters had created a BMX track and my children liked to run down the big banks in the lower woods, often into muddy puddles!
One wintry afternoon, as we walked through we noticed a tupperware box hidden in the bank and the rest, as they say, is history. The series we discovered is long gone but every time I walk past this spot I am reminded of that day.
Please do not park on the cross roads. It is a fairly busy crossing, with cars coming from various directions. I have suggested safer parking at the waypoint, from where you can easily stroll to the cache.
There is no need to leave the road to access the cache. Please do not enter the woods or climb the bank.
