Opsrey Lake is one of many fishing areas found in Battelle Darby Creek Metro Parks. Boasting over 8,000 acres, this Metro Park follows Big and Little Darby Creeks providing several canoe and kayak launch sites. Water is important to this park as well as this cache. You will have to do some work to get to the actual cache. A friend and a bucket may come in handy, but you DO NOT NEED ANY SPECIAL TOOLS to get to the cache. Fido might not help, but could enjoy a dip in the dog swimming area located nearby.Be sure to check out the other 18 caches that are part of this year's GeoTrail.
To participate in the Metro Park GeoTrail go to Columbus Metro Parks GeoTrail to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches, fill in the code words on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin. You will need all 19 clues to complete the puzzle and unlock the coordinates of the Bonus Puzzle Cache. Mark your calendar for the GeoTrail Celebration on October 5th.
