I started the Johnny Appleseed series about three months ago as I watched my caching karma droop over the years, and felt the need to give back, and explore the local trails in a different perspective. Since those 50 caches were placed, my karma has doubled from 0.35 to over 0.70, so I'm starting round two, sprinkling caches along the trails just a bit farther from home.
This cache is on the Upper High Meadow Trail of Rancho San Antonio, one of the busiest parks in Silicon Valley. It is just before the junction with Upper Wildcat Trail. You're starting to get Upper High about now, crossing the 1000 foot mark. Of course it is all relative, the top of the trail is about 1600 feet where it meets PG&E. Lots of great views of that trail and all around the park, enjoy! You're looking for a camo'd bottle hanging just off the trail.
