Hail to Snook.
Snook is a charter member of Geocaching.com as he joined in May of 2001. Life has been in the way, but recently has taken up this passion again. He really loves to hide caches. Especially caches for the young ones and the "numbers ho". He is always at the monthly event Cache And Coffee At The Sun. While he keeps placing those caches, we can keep finding them. YO HO, YO HO
It's in the paper (tree) forest, so you know what that means.
The journey to this treasure is not of the stroll down the path kind. The recent hurricane (Irma) has devastated the area and blown thousands of trees down. Even the old path is blocked. You will be climbing over, ducking under and going around obsticles to arrive at GZ. Eleven months of the year, usually through the water.
Your GPS will not stand at a point, so don't think it will settle down. Lots of cover here in the paper swamp.
Beware, this area is covered with pythons, cottonmouths, rattlesnakes and we have seen copperheads.
Please watch every step.
