Enjoy a leisurely 2-mile round trip hike or bike through the wetlands and fields of Glacier Ridge Metro Park to access this micro cache located near an active beaver dam. Bring your own pen, and tweezers are helpful. Note: There is another 2018 Metro Parks GeoTrail cache placed along this same trail, about 1-mile away from this one. Be sure to check out the other 18 caches that are part of this year's GeoTrail.

If you look closely around you, you might notice some tell-tale signs of one of the newest residents of this park - beavers! Do you see chew marks on any of the nearby trees, or tree stumps with angled tops? Beavers eat the bark off the trees and use the branches and trunks in the construction of their homes. Check out this great link of trail cam footage at the beaver dam showing beaver, raccoons, and a coyote: Trail Cam Footage
