Panther - aka mountain lion, cougar, puma - one was last seen in this area a few years ago about 10 miles from here - huge, wild cat - stories abound in this area about the many that used to inhabit the area, but they seem to be a thing of the past - in this particular area they were called "Panthers".
Please rehide well. Placed on Redbank Valley Trails with permission. Trail is open dawn to dusk. This trail won PA's 2014 Trail of the Year award. Terrain rating is mainly because you can hike/bike into this cache from many different parking areas - only the closest one is listed in the additional waypoints.
