This is a series of caches laid along a trail in Pykni Forest. We have started off with 6 locations but hope to extend it in the future.
The trail can be driven, however it is a really nice walk.....but take water and as always in Cyprus, watch out for snakes.
The first 5 caches are placed in the forest on the left side of the road from Peyia/Coral Bay to Kathikas, whilst the 6th one is on the opposite side of the road.
The forest contains a numbers of different species of trees and these have been used to provide homes for the containers. Most of them are thin black tubes containing only a log, so please bring your own pen.
Please take care when retrieving the containers and replace exactly as found. Hopefully the coordinates will be fairly accurate but being amongst tall trees may be a problem.
From this cache you can see (and smell) the goat farm across the valley.
