There are no records of the original Old Lamine Cemetery. It was about an acre that was filled with unmarked graves, the only marked ones were the Cramer family. The rest of the Cemetery was donated in 1/2 to 1 acre plots with the first in 1870 by Thomas Mellar. Later a plot was donated by Eddie and Billi Sims, all were deeded to the Elders of the Old Lamine Christian Church. During the 1940's the Old Lamine School was closed and became part of the Blackwater School District, the shool yard was donated to the Cemetery. This Cemetery is still much in use, so idf you came by and a service is in progress please come back later. The cemetery is on a gravel road and there is ample parking in the area. Permission has been requested to place the cache.
