Union Bay
Coal was once shipped from mines in the Comox Valley across the great oceans of the world. This little picnic site is on a portion of what was once the docks where this coal was loaded onto ships. I had a cache here for years but had to archive it when the area was renovated. The giant propeller from one of those ships has been returned but so far the information sign has not appeared. A new cache is here again also so you can come back and enjoy this spot one more time.
