Welcome to the GEO-EYE SERIES!
This series consists of 45 puzzle caches. We incorporated various difficulty levels. All the caches that form the PUPIL of the eye (P1 to P6) will be the harder ones. The IRIS caches (I01 to I16) will be of intermediate difficulty, and the EYE outline (E01 to E23) will be easy ones.
And then to collect the smilies, we recommend high clearance vehicles. Especially during the rainy season, as the roads can get very muddy. But then again, that is part of all the fun!
Each puzzle will start with an eye fact, followed by the puzzle. There might be clues hidden in the eye fact :-)
EYE FACT
Interesting eye facts
- Your eyes contain 7 million cones which help you see colour and detail and 100 million cells called rods which help you to see better in the dark.
- We spend about 10% of our wake time with our eyes closed.
- Your eyes can get sunburned.
- The most active muscles in your body are in your eyes.
- You blink about 15-20 times in a minute.
- Your eyes start to develop two weeks after you are conceived.
- To protect our eyes they are positioned in a hollowed eye socket, while eyebrows prevent sweat dripping into your eyes and eyelashes keep dirt out of your eyes.
- Eyes heal quickly. With proper care, it takes only about 48 hours to repair a minor corneal scratch.
- “Red eye” occurs in photos because light from the flash bounces off the back of the eye. The choroid is located behind the retina and is rich in blood vessels, which make it appear red on film.
