Have driven past these new additions at the entrance to Hikurangi quite a few times recently and thought it would be an ideal location for a cache, so that others could stop off and admire the exhibits.
Best parking is on George St, the road into Hikurangi, but please don't block any driveways. Most definitely, do not park on SH1. And, although the exhibits are a little way away from the main road, please keep a careful watch on younger cachers to keep them safe. Also be aware that this is a quite visible location, so maybe pretending to take photos could be a good ruse, whilst looking for the cache.
