Welcome to the GEO-EYE SERIES!
This series consists of 45 puzzle caches. We incorporated various difficulty levels. All the caches that form the PUPIL of the eye (P1 to P6) will be the harder ones. The IRIS caches (I01 to I16) will be of intermediate difficulty, and the EYE outline (E01 to E23) will be easy ones.
And then to collect the smilies, we recommend high clearance vehicles. Especially during the rainy season, as the roads can get very muddy. But then again, that is part of all the fun!
Each puzzle will start with an eye fact, followed by the puzzle. There might be clues hidden in the eye fact :-)
EYE FACT
A Different Type of Lens
The lenses we will be talking about here are not the lenses in your eyes, but rather the types of lenses that correct your vision and lenses that are in objects that some of us use every day, like telescopes.
There are two types of lenses that help correct vision: plus lenses and minus lenses. Here are the proper definitions for both types of lenses:
Plus lens: a lens that is thickest at the center; moves the focal point forward
Minus lens: a lens that is thinnest at the center; moves the focal point backwards.

Plus Lenses
Here are the characteristics of plus lenses:
- Fitted for people who are farsighted
- The lens is thicker in the middle and thinner on the edges
- Makes things look larger
- "...bends rays of light inwards and brings them into focus..."
- Adds more curve to your eye
- Has an elevated surface
- Here are some other names for plus lenses: "...farsighted lens, convex lens, magnifying lens, positive lens..."
Minus Lenses
Here are the characteristics of minus lenses:
- Fitted for nearsighted people
- Has an indented surface that is thinner at the middle and thicker at the edges
- Minimizes things and makes them look smaller
- "...bends rays of light outwards and spreads them away from the focus
- Takes away from the curve of your eye
- Here are some other names for minus lenses: "...nearsighted lens, concave lens, reducing lens, negative lens, minus lens..."
*The cache is not at the posted coordinates. To obtain the final coordinates, you will have to solve the puzzle*
