This cache has been disabled for several months. The cache owner (that’s me) has a plan for creating a more muggle-proof cache soon. I hope to have it in place by Thanksgiving.
Journey to this 19-acre shire by two-wheeled or four-wheeled conveyance where you'll find the Cady Way Trailhead, a park...and a hobbit hole. Finding a mathom here will be easy and will not leave you flummoxed or bewuthered.
Lake Druid Park is a hospitable place with fountains to quench your thirst, benches to rest your weary elven self, and a station to repair your two-wheeled conveyance if needed.
Other features here in middle earth that will bring you merriment are:'
- an off-leash, enclosed dog park -- for your furry four-legged imps
- a sand volleyball court -- a delight for tween agers
- a higgledy-piggledy mountain bike area with a pump track, junior pump track and a single track trail, and
- a lush community garden
The park is open from 9 a.m. to half hour before the sun sets. No night caching.
This is a great cache for the family to find. The cache contains a logbook, pens, and swag. Be sure to put it back as you found it for other hobbitts and middle-earthlings to enjoy.
