The Red Fox is a solitary creature except when raising their young. They are omnivores with a life span of 2-5 years. They have a top speed of 31 mph. They are 14-20" tall, 18-35" long not including their tail and on average 31 pounds. The gestational period is 49-58 days producing 2-12 pups. If you have never heard the sound a Red Fox makes then you should take a minute to listen on Youtube. In my opinion they sound creepy.
