A MWOG event open to everyone


A 30 minute mini-event hosted by "RickOnTheRange"


Last year we raced over the falls at our event "WWFM XIV - MWOG Plays Pooh-Sticks".
In 2016, we rolled our event "WWFM XIII - MWOG gets Rick-Rolled" with ball races.
The year before, our event "WWFM XII - MWOG Flies Home" with paper airplanes.
The previous year, our event "WWFM XI - MWOG Visits the Island" was on Manitoulin
Before that, our event "WWFM X - Cookies for the MWOG" was a Star Wars theme
The prior year, our event "WWFM IX - MWOG'ers Phoon the Sound" was in the middle of Family Fun Day
Prior to that, our event "WWFM VIII - MWOG's Bubbles by the Bay" was the first held by ROTR and The Bee

Let's join the fun again this year

This event is coordinated world wide to take place at 10:00 PDT (1:00 pm local).


Sonny and Sandy of the PodCacher podcast came up with the WWFM idea after attending a mega-event. It was meant to be a fun “opposite” of a mega-event. These caching events are intended to bring together geocachers and introduce others (newbies) to the hobby.


Itinerary for this MWOG event:
- 30 minutes (exactly)
- Act like a muggle before the event
- Approach GZ by 12:59pm
- Rick's welcome signal 1:00pm
- Brief explanation of what a WWFM is
- Enjoy a special WWFM snack
- Exchange TBs and discover coins
- Rail Walking
- Draw for FTF and prizes
- Take a group photo
- A quick CITO
- Rick signals 1:15pm
- Official WWFM activities are complete
- 1:15 to 1:30 Anyone who wants to stay and visit is welcome
- Have fun!
