Welcome to the Island! This is a series of 108 caches dedicated to my favorite TV show, "LOST." This compass in the desert is both a tribute to the show, and a thank you, as well. 🤘
The Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute is a mental health treatment and care facility. It is located just outside of Loepis Angeles, California.
The cardinal legs of this series of caches are mostly driveable...a passenger car can easily do the eastern and northern legs. The rest is viable with a high clearance vehicle, except for the far western and southern legs. Pinstriping is REAL. A 4x4 can easily do all 4 cardinal legs.
The ordinal legs are all hiking caches. There is minimal bushwhacking. And as always, watch for things that sting, bite and scratch.
The ring of this series would be best completed with an ATV/off-road vehicle. While a high clearance vehicle would be sufficient for much of it, an off-road vehicle would be much more desirable. Hiking is always an option.

To find the coordinates for this cache, add 247 to N 31 59.000 and add 353 to W 110 47.000
