PR3 #2 - Sciurus vulgaris Traditional Cache

Esta cache integra um conjunto de 20 geocaches que visam dar a conhecer Castanheira de Pera, através de 3 powertrail’s (inseridos na rede de percursos pedestres), e um trajeto de ligação (entre a Vila e os Coentrais), com o desígnio de promover um território único, no coração da Serra da Lousã, que vale a pena descobrir.

Visit_Castanheira_de_Pera é um projeto que procura potenciar a oferta turística de Castanheira de Pera, valorizando o património natural, cultural e paisagístico deste território singular.

Ao longo do futuro percurso pedestre PR3 CPR – Rota dos Neveiros, com início sugerido no Coentral Grande (linear), podem encontrar 4 caches, sendo esta a segunda do conjunto.

This geocache integrates a set of 20 geocaches that aim to make known Castanheira de Pera, through 3 powertrails (inserted in the network of hiking trails), and a linking path (between the Vila and the Coentrais), with the purpose of promoting a unique territory, in the heart of the Serra da Lousã, that is worth discovering.

Visit_Castanheira_de_Pera is a project that seeks to diversify and promote the tourist offer of Castanheira de Pera, valuing the natural, cultural and landscape heritage of this unique territory.

Along the future hiking trail PR3 CPR – Rota dos Neveiros, with suggested beginning at the Coentral Grande (linear), you can find 4 geocaches, being this one the second of the set.

O contacto com vegetação esplendorosa é uma constante neste território.

Parece um paraíso.

Longe das tormentas das plantas invasoras, que espreitam, em tom ameaçador.

Na base de um pinheiro, encontramos um manjar.

We followed the trail, a narrow path.

After crossing for the last time, the "levadas", we began the ascent.

Contact with splendorous vegetation is a constant in this territory.

It feels like paradise.

Far from the invasive plants, that are peeking, in a threatening tone.

At the base of a pine tree, we found a large meal.
