Geocache Description:

When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse...

Here you'll find yourself by the junction of three roads steeped in history. Georgiana Street, Royal College Street and Lyme Street. Lyme Street was one of the myriad London streets known as Albert Street, for obvious reasons, until 1912. Georgiana Street was named after one Georgiana Elizabeth Pratt, grand-daughter of Charles Pratt - 1st Baron Camden and local property developer. Royal College Street takes its name from the Royal Veterinary College down the road, which predates the surrounding town. The building site across the road was once the site of "the College Toilet Club".

But by far the oldest and most wonderful historial feature round here is below your feet. By the pavement near the end of the cycle lane, just a few feet away from GZ, you'll see a circular iron grill. Checking for cyclists, take a look down it.

The gushing torrent you see below is the majestic River Fleet. It is often described as hidden but there are numerous spots like this along its route where its chalybeate waters can be seen or heard.

This easy magnetic is at a nice height, and you should be able to see it. Please replace with care!

Note - I know the log is getting damp, but I'm not sure what to do about it... any ideas please drop me a DM. Ta!
