Originally an esplanade was a large, open, flat area outside of a fortress to provide clear field's of fire from the fortress's guns. Today the name is synomymous with a long, open area along water where people may walk.
The Waterfront Esplanade can be quite busy when the sun is shining so be sure to use stealth when searching for this cache.
