Aivan sattumalta huomasin, että samaisessa metsässä on aikoinaan ollut sittemmin jo arkistoitu https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2E4NZ_nikos-challenge
Päätin käydä vilkaisemassa paikan, ja tosiaan, priimaluokan apinapuu oli kyseessä ja kätkökin vielä tallessa, joskaan yli neljään vuoteen ei kukaan siellä ollut käynyt. Alkuperäinen ajatukseni oli kierrättää sekä purkki että logikirja, mutta purnukan huonosta kunnosta johtuen kierrätykseen päätyi vain osa logikirjasta.
Alkuun pääseminen vaatii pituutta tai ponnistusvoimaa sekä käsistä hieman pattia, tai vaihtoehtoisesti apuvälineitä tai apurin. Itse oksat ovat hyvin tukevat.
Parkkipaikka löytyy Karakallion ostoskeskukselta, samoin Kotkakujalla voi olla paikkoja. Bussilla pääsee ainakin Karakalliontielle helposti.

By chance I noticed that there had already been a since then archived climber https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2E4NZ_nikos-challenge in the same forest.
I decided to check it out, and as it happens, the tree was prima and the container still there, although no one had visited the cache in over four years. I originally intended to recycle not only the logbook but also the container. However, due to the poor shape of the container I only recycled parts of the logbook.
To get yourself started you will need length or vertical jumping power and some forearm strength. Alternatively tools or a helping hand. The branches themselves are sturdy.
There is parking space at the Karakallio shopping centre and possibly also in Kotkakuja. Buses will take you to Karakalliontie if not closer.
