Geocache Description:

The SNC Woodland Challenge is a series of caches placed on SNC woodlots. These properties are often not actively used by the public, and have no maintained trails. There are sometimes wetlands, streams, ditches, and other challenging terrain that you may need to overcome to find the geocache.

This geocache and adventure will fulfill the expectations fans of this series. You can expect to need rubber boots… Although it was placed in the spring, it is hard to imagine this area ever being completely dry. I always imagine people asking me “Why are too many geocaches easy to get to?” Or “Why isn’t there a geocache in the middle of this damp forest?” Well if you did ask one of those questions, this one is for you.

This geocache should be easy to find in a winter friendly spot I marked two corners of the rectangular SNC property. The cache container is a recovered Pelican case that is starting a second life after being a SNC GeoPassport cache container. Park along the roadside, carefully on the shoulder. I recommend turning your 4-way lights on to make your vehicle more visible. Alternatively, you could make this cache more of a challenge and park in town at Clarence Creek- or better yet, leave the car at home and start an expedition for yourself.

This cache was placed with the intention of being found on April 28th 2018 at SNCITO9. All finds that day will be considered a shared FTF.
