Geocache Description:

A roadside cache, the third of a circular walk around the village of Fishlake.

Parking can be roadside, adjacent to 'The Landing', a small grassed area off Main Street, which is used by most walkers who visit the village, alternatively there are a couple of village pubs.

The hints are musically themed, so it may be wise to visit Google before the caches!

The word 'Trundle' is often used to portray slow progress along a road, however it is in fact a verb based around the notion of wheels and rotation in general:

"TRUNDLE - to propel by revolving, or to move within a wheeled vehicle"

The origin, around horse drawn wagons, may have led to its usage to depict a slower pace of life and also the derivation of this street name.

The rural nature of the village means that the pavements aren't present along this portion of the walk, although there are ample verges and the road isn't too busy. It's just a short walk from the end of the footpath to the off-road section - please look after children and dogs though!
