Geocache Description:

The Power Walk is a power trail done on foot -- 28 caches on a 2-3/4 mile loop trail.

This is an easy, if somewhat rough, walk in the countryside, with good cell service all the way and very little elevation gain or loss. The trail begins, and ends, in the same place (the parking area) and, while following the cache trail, you can't get lost! You'll be walking along fence lines and will intercept, at P.W. #18, the 2-track road that, together with the caches along it, will bring you back to your car at the end. (You can see your car from the last few caches.)

As for the caches and hides -- this is a true power trail, with power trail-type containers and power trail-type hides every .10 of a mile (approximately). Anything you need or want to know about an individual cache or hide, or the trail at that spot, will be on that cache page, including hints (each cache page is unique, which can make log writing easier). I will only use the hint field for silly stuff,

To get here: take Exit 209 (Gates of the Mountains) off Interstate 15 from either direction. After turning onto the Gates road--there is only one way you can go, take the immediate left onto Sperry Rd.; it is a nice gravel road & accessible for any car. Follow the road until you reach the parking coordinates -- if you drive over the cattle guard you have gone too far

Please bring your own pen/pencil, as I didn't leave any in the caches.

P.W. #1: This small, camoed container will hold small TBs and trackables. If you had driven over the cattle guard you would have been only 8 feet from the cache -- sagebrush makes an effective hiding place, don't you think?

To begin, just follow that fence . . . !

The Power Walk is . . . (continued on page for P.W. #2, GC7NMX9)
