When I was in second grade, my teacher gave us a riddle to solve. I solved it pretty quickly, and was SOOOO proud of myself. Afterschool, I took it to my dad, who looked at it for about five seconds, grinned at me, then blurted out the answer. DARN! I finally thought I had outsmarted dear ol’ dad. Nope. And I never did!
Here is that same riddle, memorized from that day in 1987, for you to solve to get your smiley. Get out your drawing paper!
(I may have forgotten the EXACT original wording, but it is still the same answer!)
Ten fish I caught without an eye,
And nine without a tail.
Six had no head,
And half of eight
I weighed upon the scale.
Now who can tell me as I ask it,
How many fish are there in my basket?

Answer with the number’s WORD, no punctuation, all lowercase.
Example: 26 = twentysix

Enter answer in certitude.
