Welcome to the Island! This is a series of 108 caches dedicated to my favorite TV show, "LOST." This compass is both a tribute to the show, and a thank you as well. 🤘
108 is the sum of The Numbers.
That is,
4 + 8 + 15 + 16 + 23 + 42 = 108
The number 108 also appears many times in the show itself.
Because of the importance and significance of this number, this is a special cache containing lots of goodies.
The cardinal legs of this series of caches are mostly driveable...a passenger car can easily do the eastern and northern legs. The rest is viable with a high clearance vehicle, except for the far western and southern legs. Pinstriping is REAL. A 4x4 can easily do all 4 cardinal legs.
The ordinal legs are all hiking caches. There is minimal bushwhacking. And as always, watch for things that sting, bite and scratch.
Cache is located on Arizona Trust Land so you must have your permit in order to access this cache. If you do not have a permit, one can be purchased online here: (visit link)
This cache is not at the posted coordinates. To find the coordinates for this cache, add 720 to N 31 59.000 and 884 to W 110 47.000
