Geocache Description:


Sadly a few of us missed last year's crazy event 'Up the creek without a paddle' held by Madrab so hopefully those who missed last time can join us today for a similar venture!

"We will be at the posted location between 10am to 10.30"
The aim of the event is to have a bit of fun on the water as we float around with or without the aid of a paddle in 'Whatever Floats Your Boat'.
Please come a little earlier to allow time to get your boats and crafts inflated and ready to rumble

Some will be doing a further trip to Melksham by water followed by a warm up in the pub for a beer & food. All are welcome to join us!

Remember that you will be responsible for your own safety if entering the water and bringing either a life jacket or buoyancy will be required as it can get a little choppy in places

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times ....

Hope to see you there and lets pray the weather is good for us and the Sun shines brightly for us, until we reach the pub at least.

There is very little parking at Reybridge so I suggest that you either get dropped off or leave the car at the end where you plan on getting off the water.
For those getting out at Lacock there is space for a couple of cars at the bridge if not the NT Carpark is not that far away.
I will add parking for Melksham as soon as I have more accurate details ...
