Geocache Description:

While walking by on the Soldier Creek Trail, I noticed this family cemetery didn't have a geocache. So I decided to place one.

This cemetery has some history as nearly all of the people buried here are related to former Kansas Senator and US vice-president Charles Curtis.

There are only fourteen known people buried in this cemetery, with the last burial in 1934. However, nearly all of the markers are heavily damaged or missing, due mostly to a vandalism incident in the summer of 2008. The cemetery is maintained by Shawnee County Parks and Recreation.

You are looking for a very small container with no room for trackables or a pen to sign the log. You can't drive all of the way up to the cache, but you can get within 60 feet of it. You do not have to enter the cemetery to make the find.
