No Lost Heritage out here, just lots of open space and a sandy track between Mexico and South Australia.
Not only is the cache halfway between the two fences, it is also halfway (within a few metres) between the Sturt Highway and the Lindsay Point Road, both of which are bitumised unlike the Border Track.
Come prepared with a high clearance vehicle and/or 4WD!
I went through without engaging 4WD, but there are some sandy spots that a low slung vehicle may have difficulty with!
An AWD without reasonable elevation may also struggle in spots... you have been warned.
Also if wet, you will have trouble and need sensible mates to get you out, but don't rely on them wanting to get bogged either!
Enjoy your drive along the edge of Victoria's 'Outback'. 😁
You are looking for a small cache with an even smaller cache inside, with duct tape cammo.
