Høgkubben Traditional Cache

Høgkubben (450 moh) er en av toppene på Emblemsfjellet. Toppen er et veldig populært turmål. På toppen får man en fantastisk panoramautsikt. For å komme opp starter man ved parkeringsplassen til turheisa. Herfra kan du følge Høgkubben trail. Veipunkter for denne trailen finner du ved cachen: Høgkubben trail#1 GC780Z1. Man kan også gå trailen andre veien fra nr. 14, da får man en slakere men litt lengre vei. Den korteste veien opp er å gå fra parkeringsplassen rett opp og følge turheis traseen, derfra kan du følge Høgkubben trail fra nr.9 til nr.6 som er hovedstien opp til Høgkubben.
Cachen er en liten plastboks som inneholder loggbok, blyant og noen bytteting.
Gode sko anbefales, det kan være fuktig og gjørmete noen steder.

Høgkubben (450) is one of the peaks of Emblemsfjellet. The top is a very popular hiking destination. At the top you get a fantastic panoramic view. To get started, you start at the ski lift parking lot. From here you can follow the Høgkubben trail. Waypoints for this trail can be found at the cache: Høgkubben trail # 1 GC780Z1. You can also go the trail the other way from number 14, then you get an easier but a little longer way. The shortest way up however, is to go straight up from the parking lot and follow the Ski lift track, from there you can follow the Høgkubben trail from nr.9 to nr.6 which is the main trail up to Høgkubben.
The cache is a little plastic box containing logbook, pencil and some trading items
Good hiking shoes are recommended, some parts of the trail can be wet and muddy.
