Years ago, Bruce Banner was camping in the swamps of Eastern North Carolina. It was a warm, buggy night and several mosquitoes bit him, sucking the Gamma ray infused blood from his sleeping body. This DNA carried along to future generations of mosquitoes, creating the oversized bloodsuckers that many natives now consider the state bird. Enough of them have been known to carry off their victims into the night, their screams the final echoing of their lives. Nothing is safe from their invading hordes.
That's my story and I am sticking to it. Actually, this cache is inspired by another that impressed me, so I decided to attempt my own rendition of it. It also brings you to a tucked away place on the shore of Little River, which if you continued to travel southeast down it, will bring you to the Albemarle Sound.
