Cote D'Or, or Anse Volbert, is Praslins largest beach. It houses many hotels but due to its size still offers many lonely places. Its shallow water offers perfect swimming and snorkeling conditions with the best snorkeling spots around the boulders that are placed here and there in the waters, mainly at it's east end.
The cache site provides a view on the whole of Cote D'Or.
Guests of Hotel L'Archipel (I wasn't one when placing the cache) can just walk to the cache, for all others it's a short (wet) walk or swim from the parking coordinates. Snorkeling around the rocks here is quite nice, you should be able to see some rays if you can spot them in their hiding. And after all we're all visiting the Seychelles to go swimming!
The entrance to the cache is guarded by a small tree, please don't damage it but access via the rocks to the right (see spoiler photo).
Would be great if you could attach photos of your Cote D'Or view to your log!
