EXTRACT FROM INSPECTOR DIMMER’S NOTES ABOUT THE VICTIM AND SUSPECTS FOLLOWING INTERVIEWS WITH THE CACHERS AT THE CAMPSITE.

MRS KATHY NOWALL – A muggle.  A member of the church choir and the local gossip.  She does not like the Verger and told everyone about his arguments with the Vicar.  She enjoys gossiping about people and would refer to him as “the Yorkshire Cornishman”, or “Yorkie Pasty”, speculating about his past because of his Yorkshire accent.

She has taken a great deal of interest in the campsite and the geocachers staying there.  She talked to Mrs Jarvis in the farm shop and Rosie in the Post Office about the arguments she had heard between the Verger and the geocachers when passing the campsite.  Also, she told Rosie she had seen the Verger walking through the campsite when it was empty carrying a bag containing some sticks wrapped in cloth, a child’s toy and other bulky items.

Mrs Nowall is not suspected of killing the Verger as her right arm is in a pot following a fall outside the church last week.  The doctor has confirmed she could not have used any of the potential murder weapons.  KingstonVW is her younger brother.
