Veevay's Golden
I first met Veevay over a year ago out on a group hike with the Gennesee Valley Hiking Group. It was a miserable hike, but it was more enjoyable, thanks to the pleasant conversation we had together. I talked a lot about Geocaching and she seemed genuinely interested in the activity. After the hike had concluded, we said goodbye and that was the last time I had heard from her.
Later that summer, I received a message from her through the meet up page, thanking me for introducing her to geocaching. She said that she had even found a few of mine and that she was having so much fun with the new activity. I felt great, there's so many people that you share geocaching with and they respond with a placid interest. Here she was truly enjoying it.
A few months later, we had an opportunity to go out geocaching together. I was inspired by her intensity and focus and her everlasting endurance to search for even the most difficult hides. She quickly began to find more and more hides and even taught me a few things when I lost my GPS and began using my phone exclusively.
At the beginning of this year, she challenged herself to find 1000 caches before her one year anniversary of joining Geocaching.com. She blew that out of the water and I was happy to join her on that milestone up in Canada, in April 2018.

The coordinates will take you to a place that I think Veevay would enjoy. It's a tough hike, a well hidden cache and a beautiful view. You're looking for a 50 cal ammo can. Please re-hide this as well or better than you find it. It should not be visible from any angle.
