In celebration of the 18th birthday of geocaching, a good long hike and a painted ammo can has been prepared for you to experience at your own leisure. Nothing fancy here. Just about a 2 mile hike if you follow the SGL road (recommended) to a classically hidden, regular sized ammo can.
The walk will showcase some recent land management efforts and plenty of scenery with potential wildlife encounters.
mrGreen317 and I have wanted to explore this game lands together for some time and as a result of finally making time for that, a new cache is born. (Perhaps several!)
Be prepared by knowing gamelands regulations, which includes wearing your orange when appropriate and being respectful and yielding to hunters. This is a decent hike and a vast area with spotty phone service. Let someone know where you are and enjoy our public lands.
