Flying Squirrels are nocturnal omnivores eating whatever their environment provides. They can make 180 degree turns and glide 20-30 feet on average. They cannot fly but use a parachute like membrane that stretches from wrist to ankle. They control their flight path using their limbs & tail. I tried to find how fast a Flying Squirrel is while browsing the web but unfortunately couldn’t come up with an answer. They have a gestation period of 40 days producing 2-5 babies. They have a life span of 6 years and live the majority of their life alone.
