Geocache Description:


In November 2016 a wave of fires, both wildfires and urban fires began in Israel from Beer Sheva to Nahariya. Some fires occurred naturally while others were arson attacks. After 8 days the fire fighting services announced on the 28th of November that the emergency condition was over. The largest fires occurred in Haifa, where 527 apartments were destroyed and 75,000 residents had to be evacuated. 20000 dunams of forests bush-land and open space were burnt. Fires in Haifa occurred in dozens of areas and they have consumed buildings in five different location. The cache is located near Yossi Palmor's sculpture - Coupling.
