Houghton Hall Park is a publicly accessible 17 hectare urban park with a rich heritage, highly valued by the local community and playing an important role in the history, culture and landscape of the local area.
It has recently received a lottery grant and now has a visitors centre, cafe and children's play areas scattered throughout.
It is very popular with dog walkers and joggers in the park, especially early weekend mornings. Stealth may be required!
The park is also home to an abudance of wildlife including birds and bats as well as many species of flora and fauna.
There are lots of paths to explore which are mainly wheelchair and buggy friendly, although the actual cache locations may be a bit trickier. All the caches are family friendly and hidden to be found.
