This LEGO birdhouse was built for my geocaching birthday party. After using it at the birthday party, I decided to make it a permanent geocache. My grandpa, Red Granite, helped me build it but I put all the LEGOs together and counted them out.
This is important because in order to open the lock holding the lid closed, you need to count various colors of LEGOs. For example:
The FIRST NUMBER for the lock is the number of green blocks on all three sides.
The SECOND NUMBER for the lock is the number of orange blocks on all three sides.
The THIRD NUMBER for the lock is the number of purple blocks on all three sides.
Remember to look at the LEGO blocks carefully and count the three colors carefully. When replacing the lock be sure none of the numbers have changed on the lock AND spin the numbers to lock it.
Good luck with this geocache and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed using it at my birthday party.
