You are looking for a small Geocache, not suitable for trackables or swaps. You will need your own writing implement and tools of the trade. Although this is located in a cul-de-sac, there is very heavy footfall thanks to it making a good shortcut for pedestrians and is in view of many properties. Beware the muggles at all times of day! There is no need to go on to any private property to retrieve the container. The area itself is wheelchair accessible but the container is placed fairly high up to avoid muggle interference.
This Geocache is an homage (blatant copy) of one of the very first caches I found which is, sadly, no longer active. I learned about Geocaching from a friend at work and told my mum, an avid walker and lover of treasure hunts, all about it. We set out that very minute and both agreed that this was one of the best we ever found thanks to the fact that it was hidden in plain sight and we had both walked past it many times without ever noticing.
Sadly, my mum was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 at the age of 57 and passed away shortly after coming to live with us. In the time she had left, she liked nothing more than to sit in the window with a cup of coffee and watch the world go by. This Geocache is located within sight of her favourite spot. She’d have loved to have watched you all looking for it!
