This is the third hide for the 'Town of Tewksbury' in our quest to bring people to some beautiful open space areas to hike within our town borders! This one is located on one of the many trails throughout the Tewksbury State Hospital land in the vicinity of a newly created 'overlook' complete with a large wooden bench for resting and wildlife observation. A 'ponded' area of Strongwater Brook can be seen below with ducks and other birds, basking turtles and a couple of beavers were observed swimming as well on our maiden run. An oasis of peace and tranquility thanks to the continuing efforts of Earth Day community volunteers and friends of our Open Space and Recreation Committee led by Kyle Boyd.
